I've had the 700s go over 8000 miles without touching them. I roasted a belt and took out a crank seal at 3000 miles. That was a bummer!

 

I always liked the look of those sleds.

The sled has 4200 miles now and runs perfect, compression is great, carbs are clean, changed the oil pump belt. Hope to get a few problem free winters!

IMHO, condition matters much more than mileage. I'd but a sled with good compression/great engine condition with 10k miles over one with 5k miles with low compression!
