I started this thread under the Still Shots Pictures Forum but figured it would be best over here now. I picked up a great running 1988 Indy Trail 488 fan for my son's first sled. At first glance I could see something wrong with the suspension system. The track was hanging maybe 4" from the bottom of the skid? I then looked at the adjusters and seen they were not even touching the slide wheel bar.(?) I thought maybe somebody tried to rig a newer susp system in or soemthing
Well over the weekend we started tearing it down and found the susp system looks to be the stock however somebody moved all the mounts back about and inch?? I do not see anything broken or anything like that so I cannot figure out why they would move it like this? Does anybody have a clue. I will put up some pictures later but everything looks to be stock just moved towards the rear of the sled
