Copper y-pipe gaskets correct way? Vt480, phazer

Am replacing the exhaust gaskets on my - 92 venture but new ones look different from the old ones and I'm clueless which side is up which is down.

I'm sure somepne here knows.

I would set them with High Temp silicone and it wont matter.

In your second photo, the one on the left is the way I put them in on my 96 V Max. It sealed up without any problems.
