Hi guys, I'm having problems figuring this one out... I went out today for about a 40 mile ride and the primary clutch is hot on the inside sheave. Belt is cool (new belt) secondary clutch is running cool. Belt slipping issue or alignment? I recently replace the secondary clutch and it ate a belt. Put new belt in and shimmed secondary out a bit, but now the belt may be a little on the loose side. Any ideas?

You want the belt to be as tight as possible! And you need to get it in allignment and also the correct distance apart! You also need to be sanding down the sheves and blow them out!
