So I’ve been thinking about buying my buddies old Yamaha enticer 340 the engine is seized I don’t really feel like going through the engine the way it really should be gone through but I also have two skidoo safari 377s I love the enticer body but the 377 is real reliable and has the e start so do you guys think I would be able to swap one of the engines over

if you are good at fabricating and figuring out the wiring, anything is possible. Easy? Probably not, especially going from one manufacturer to another.

But space wise u think it would work I know it’s definitely not gonna be a walk in the park but it was my friends first sled and it’s an enticer so I feel obligated to somehow return it to running
It'll be a hell of a project, and probably cost more than just buying another Enticer engine, or parts sled. And once the project is done, it'll likely not run as well as either sled did originally. If cash is to tight to fix it, I'd look for a way to turn one of those 377's into cash, and then that cash into an Enticer engine/parts sled.
Welcome
Most likely you wont be able to get the pipe in.
The et exhaust went across the front

I could definitely do that but either way it would probably cost close to the same amount and not many people can say they have an electric start Yamaha enticer

Oh I think your right I would definitely have to take a good look at them both and compare thank you for the information

Anyone who owns an Excel III can! It's basically the same sled, but with E start and a tachometer. Hunt around for one of those if you want to add E-start
There are whole sites dedicated to doing Briggs and Stratton type swaps. I doubt it would be as fast as the 340 but lots of fun still and a lot of the old sleds were low horsepower.
My ET had E start
My Ovation does too
do u know what year and everything your et was i bought the sled of my friend today and i’m looking at it and it has a spot for a battery has the cables and appears to have a gear and flywheel for e start however can’t really tell untill i dig a little deeper and clean it all up
My 82 had E start
My 96 does as well
The E start was offered
