I have a new 2005 Yamaha 500 (2 stroke). It starts OK, but after about a minute it dies. After that I have to play with the throttle to keep it going until it warms up. It isn't always like it - about 75% of the time. Any suggestions?
Had it back to the dealer already - they adjusted the carbs (said they were too rich) but it didn't help. Truthfully, I have as much faith in sled dealers as I do car dealers! But I probably will try it again. I think the idle speed needs to be adjusted.
hmmm just went to the yamaha web site and if this is the older style venture then it should be a 600 triple still. i wonder what that dealership is doing to yah? anyways it proiblby nothing to serious, bring it back to them again
