A friend of mine has a 96 xcr 600 and i having trouble finding a clutch puller I figure it's the two piece version but just want some more insight on it any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

Dennis Kirk has this one piece, it's a Parts Unlimited puller (not for lots of use) but it says it will fit the 1996 XCR (and a lot of other Polaris clutches!)

thanks but looked a little closer and found out it's a comet clutch

I could not get a puller for one of my snowmobiles either. is what I did was get a bolt that will thread into the clutch. wrap it with teflon tape (Plummers tape) roll machine on its side fill the hole with water, install bolt prev wraped with tape and tighten in it will work I have done this
