I would offer him a couple of hundred less. Maybe meet in the middle. The price isnt far off. Ive seen some better deals but there is alot of worse deals out there. Good luck and keep us informed. Thanks!!
Kelly Blue Book lists 3 Cougars, but none of them are 2-ups. This may have been a special order sled. Anyway, $1,900 doesn't seem too high. I'd offer less, and meet in the middle.
Ultimately, the worth of the sled depends *heavily* upon condition. If it were mint, I wouldn't haggle too hard. If it's beat, I'd haggle away, and if I didn't think I was getting a good deal, I'd let it go and look for another. A beat sled could cost you hundreds and hundreds of dollars getting it back into shape. You're better off paying a little more for something already in decent shape.
