96 XLT machine started to bogging down, then it died. Can't even pull string to try and start it the clutch is fully relaxed and I don't have any idea what happened if any one has any suggestion please let me know
You mean you can pull the pull cord its seized? That sounds like a seized motor to me.Or if your really lucky it could be your belt jammed in the clutch.Remove your belt and try turning to shaft by hand either way to see if it turns. If it dont turn you have a seized motor $$$$$$$$$$Good luck
It does sound like a seized motor... although a lot of the time a siezed motor doesn't slowly bog down either. There are many things that could be wrong, but as you describe it, it sounds like the motor is seized.
So I have a 2000s rmk engine in a older wedge. It is a 600, I have 700 carbs, jugs, reeds, head, an pistons. Could I swap out the top end? If so what would I have to do to the jetting? Any knowledge is appreciated!
Hi, I have an 88 Polaris Indy 488 fan that runs at idle but won’t rev at all. Seems like it is getting too much fuel. It’ll start first pull and idle all day but it is very smoky and when you try to rev it up it will big down and eventually stall. It looks like it has good spark but plugs are...
Looking for a little help on what can be causing my 2001 formula deluxe to flood on initial start of the day. Has good spark. I only put choke at half. Once it has started I have no issues, starts 100%. Runs great down the lake. Appriciate any feedback. Thanks.
