One of the benefits of living in Montana.... My buddy and I will be riding the sleds for the first time this season! About a week ago we got a solid 8" up high in the mountains, and. Within the past three days we have gotten another 12" down around the cabin at 6500' elevation... We reportedly were supposed to get anywhere from 18-24" anywhere above 7500'... So last night we took the jeep up in the mountains as far as we could, and only made it to about 7000' and couldn't go any further... So today we are hauling the sleds up and going to go to a spot we always ride that is roughly 8500' in elevation... Hopefully it will be good snow! Should have a little base from last weekends snowfall... Will post pictures if anyone wants to see!

It's raining here today... But that just means its snowing more in the mountains... When I left our cabin near the Pintlar Mountains (where the photos where taken) it was snowing pretty heavily.... Should be a great season in western Montana!
