ok, since this place is so dead, i hate summer, i figured
id ask this question.

would u get a car thats way better on gas, say for $1000 after
repairs are made to make it reliable, or.....

drive what you have and spend the grand in gas???

oh ya. the car would get 10mpg better than what you drive daily.:cheeky4:

so lets hear whats on your minds, except kccats, he'll tell me to put
wheels on a PANTARA 800efi.

thats kinda what i was thinking, its a 99 pont sunfire, 2door,
114k, loaded except power windows, everything works!!
needs the basics, battery, trans service, tuneup and a
muffler hanger. actually i will have about $750 in it
before license & title. $202 just for that.

so a dependable car, ready to drive for $960!!!
not too shabby in my eyes.

if it would only tow my 2place clamshell!!!

My brother in law has a little Honda civic with hitch. We pulled the trailer with 3 sleds on it. Took a little to get moving but that was the only issue.

Spring for the class two. My lumina can easily pull one sled, but its overloaded with two IMO. Still handy for pulling fishing boats and stuff.

driving it home, dont want to do more
damage if possible.;)

OK No Pantera Refferences! But I pulled 3000# of sand with the VW and I get about 38 mpg with it so far! I'm looking at building an inline 2 place Allum trailer for it! With electric brakes!

Why not just use a normal two place? Sure I can't see out of my mirrors, but thats half the fun! I was also looking at putting brakes on ours. We just ended up getting snow tires for the vehicle instead
