Okay so my ECU got fried last week due to a broken voltregulator i believe. I have it at the mechanics at the moment where they will troubleshoot it but im pretty confident that it was the voltage regualtors fault. But now to the question :) Im trying to find a new ECU and i dont really know what fits mine. (I have a Polaris rmk assault 800 2010 "144")
The one that is on right now has the numbers 4011518, but im wondering if those numbers realy matter or if i can just use a different one. Can you change the programming somehow? 🤔

Sry for my spelling :)

The ecu is mappable. Most Polaris shops will have a "Digital Wrench" to change the map. Some shops also have the ability to change the map, but most do not.

With as many issues that Polaris had over that era of sleds, I would stick to an exact match. And get the most up-to-date map in it from Polaris.
