Hello everyone,

I am wanting to build up an older arctic cat over the summer and I have a few questions to ask, my idea is sort of interesting but i am wondering if it is possible and if there is anything else I should take into consideration. I am wanting to take a later 70s or early 80s arctic cat Jag and throw a skid and track underneath it from a late 80s AFS jag. I am wondering if the track is the same width and if I will be able to use that track with the drive cogs that are already on the jags drive shaft. I love riding vintage sleds i just want a little more rear suspension. I am also wanting to find either a 440 spirit or one of the 500 fans from an old cougar to throw in there.

I am open to any ideas and info you may have for me, I'm mainly wondering about the track and skid though

thanks a bunch!

well i am parting out an 88 340 jag and the rail spacing is 7.5 inch center to center so if that is the spacing of what you currently have then it will work
