I was riding in warm conditions, deep wet snow last year and changed mine one hole to gain more low end for the day. It did do what I was intending, but I had to be very carefull not to let it over-rev. It blew up that day anyway!!! I found a cracked carb boot that looked to be the culprit though. I wouldn't leave it that way for very long.

Put spring back in original position, but put a clutch from an 89 500, wich I beleive has a 34 degree helix instead of 36 degrees in my original.

Suppose to have better low rpm power right?
