I have one of the threaded cranks on one of my old "tie downs" frozen into the hole.

After I get it thawed out, what is the best way to prevent this happening again?

Anybody have success stories to share?

Thanks,
Bill

I'm buying a lottery ticket today. If I win, whomever gives the best answer gets all my old sleds AND the trailer when I go get all new with an enclosed trailer.

Use some waterproof anti-seize compound or Heli-Coil stainless steel threaded insert.

Picked some up at Fleet farm when I went ot get more Allis Chalmers orange. I'm thawing out the trailer right now with one of those 200,000 BTU trash can heaters.

I had to find a new hood and it needed body work done. My kid wanted his Indy trail painted orange. Orange.

I have a friend that painted his Honda motorcycle Kaw green.

What does painting a Polaris orange equate to? It's almost the color of my brother-in-laws [Fire?] Cat.
