I rode 150 miles this past weekend on my 76 Cheetah 5000. I spent my time on the Kal Haven Trail between Timber Ridge Ski Area and South Haven. The trails were good but were poor at the end of the day after everyone was riding them.

The sled handled really well. Cruised at an average of 45mph and had a top speed of 70 on a 1/4 mile straightaway. I met up with the Van Buren County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol and was able to keep up with them on the trail for a little while (they were only riding 500cc and 600cc Yamaha's from 1999).

I got a lot of complements on my sled and brought back a lot of memories for the older riders I talked to.

Now we just need some more snow to improve the trail conditions!

Pictures will be posted tonight.
