Hi all, I have been fighting to get this sled trail ready. Its a 79 Kawi Drifter 340. It all started with a busted belt..and now this.

The shaft that turns the track shifted causing the sprocket to loose grip. Now i have no idea how this happened or how to get the shaft to shift back to the left...i tried hammering it but no go. The part that spins the track lines up with the track perfectly so it seems that the shaft is all that moved. Please help! How can i move it back towards the sprocket, and why does that center nut keep coming loose?

This center nut keeps loosening:

This is where the chain turns the track:

The entire shaft shifted about 1/2" to the right:

Yep replace the bearings (both sides) and the clutch side bearing should be flush with the end of the shaft!
