I have lost top end and I have been riding much harder lately and I am thinking the sensor is shot. I know they run better cooler anyways.

Anyone remove theirs on their sled? My buddy said it was the best thing he ever did to his sled.

Some of the early sleds didn't even have thermostats. The later ones require it to get the most power, the sensor interacts with the computer and if you don't get to a certain temp, the computer doesn't think the engine is warm enough for full power. Your call.

When the sled puts itself into limp mode, what are the symptoms? RPMs? Speed? Etc?

I feel like I lost power/top end and I am trying to figure it out.

I unplugged it and it was obvious what limp mode was
