Wondering if a tight belt can cause the sled to stall when slowing down and spiking the brake?

its possible, but that would only make sense if your clutch(S) was/were sticking or you ahd the wrong belt on so sounds like first, check your belt to make sure its right, then if it is time to clean and inspect the clutches

that's my plan of attack...hopefully its the belt, because i don't have a puller and would like to avoid paying someone to do it for me. Thanks for your reply.
