1st, sorry for my english, but i do my best...
We actually work on a amazing problem on a XC700 2002.
The left cylinder have seizure, but not cause carburator adjustment, its because fire spark. There's a 7/16"hole on the top of the piston. Fire was too high on this cylinder???
So we change piston and cylinder.
We check all the carb and its #1. We try a new ECU, new spark plug, new coil, inverse spark wires... Everything is ok.
The motor have too much fuel cause spark plug are cleaned by fuel. But, carb adjustment are OK.
There's fuel in motor pan, but we drain with the wonderful plugs
At idle, the motor run on 1 cylinder(right) but over 3000RPM, it runs on 2, and on idle the motor is unstable. If we unplug left spark wire, it doesn't stop, but if we unplug right plug, it stop.
We think that the stator is scrap.
It stall 2 time at 118Mph, and 3rd time after 50foot.

Ok first you need to call your dealer if your snowmobile is still under warranty they will replace the entire motor for free.
It sounds like a combo of fuel and electrical problems. Get it replaced!

Its not under warranty since first week of december.
Carburation is ok. We check all carb system and everything is ok.
We try an other computer and same problem.
We think that is the stator plate.
The snowmobile is now to the dealer for check-up.
We will know soon.
