Indy Classic 500....What type of NGK plug does it take...Cannot find it on the NGK site???

If its stock with no mods, yes the BR9ES.
you find its running rich, plugs are black, smokes a lot and is sluggish. try BR8ES that will bring it up 1 heat range for a better burn.

i'd be careful running 8's in that sled. 9's should be good. better a little black than a little siezed.

The Champion plug- which the factory specifies- is a RN57YCC. Can't see what the brand difference would matter, I've used the NGK myself for the past 2 years. Just thought it might be of use to someone.

I would go with BR9EYA they are good plugs they are what i run. The are the same as the BR9ES but they have 2 electrodes more spark. They run in the same heat range as the BR9ES too.
