Howdy all,

We just bought our son a 1991 Arctic Cat Lynx for Christmas. It was positively perfect when we bought it! The seller offered to deliver it, we said that was great and he did deliver it. Problem, he punctured the back of the seat when loading the snowmobile for delivery. Any way to patch a tear in the seat? It's not on a seam, it's about 1/2 inch below the top of the seat on the back and it is roughly 3 inches long.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to patch up the hole greatly appreciated.

the seam splits on my seat every year. I smear black rtv silicon sealent into the split and smooth it out with water on a towel.let it set up 24hrs. and it should work for a seaon look ok too.

torn seat

Our dog took a chunk out of the seat and I went to an upholstery shop. Found out there are seat vinyls made for -30 temps.
I cut out a patch and glued it on with vinyl sewing type glue using duct tape to hold it on till dry. It's never come off and black on black , its almost invisible.
