When looking at the online fische for a safari ther is two listings for the carb. The needle has two different numbers. My Safari is an 84 but I am assuming the 1987 is the same because the needle is the same on mine. Anyway my safari is bogging at the mid range and the clip is at the top. Should I try the other needle listed? It seem that if the stock needle had one more clip position it would be just about correct. There is no bog right off the bat and it cleans out on top but the mid sucks. If I accelerate steady through the mid it is ok but sluggish, If I pin it it bogs bad and acts like it is fouling a plug, but once past the mid it runs ok. Any other ideas? The belt is getting worn pretty bad but wouldn't that cause the rpms to go up not bog?Sorry for the long post.

Also it runs better when it is first started then loses power after about 10 minutes. Compression is 128 and 130 psi. This thing is a pain.
