this sled wants to run away when you start it cold with the choke on - as it warms up it revs up and wants to take off before you get a chance to turn the choke down. E brake will not hold it back.

Remove the air box and check that the carb slides are returning to full closed when lever is released.

my old indy classic ran away too....mine was a bad clutch alignment

I would check this first. In my experience, 90% of the time this is the problem.
