Actually, the ones in your pictures imho are not rice. I consider rice to be your typical poorly done, stick on vents honda, cavalier <insert slow commuter vehicle name here> The above cars appear to be done properly, with taste, and probably go like stink
hey any 1k hp car is a 1k hp car alright. but yeah, this video had a really highly modded supra just squeezing out like a 360 modena. i mean, he barely beat the guy and wouldnt shut his mouth. its like "ok how much money did you need to make your car have 1k hp and barely beat mine that doesnt come even close but almost beat you? yeah. exactly"
Whats the definition of rice? A import that has money put into massive spoiler and bodykit and prolly has chopped stock springs to lower it?
Would a import with bodykit and spoiler that has lots of engine work done to it be considered rice?
the first pic imo doesnt really fall in the "ricer" catigory. only because you can tell that the guy/girl took a lot of time and effort into making it look "classy". imo a "ricer" is the total opposite. where they have a spoiler that sticks 8' above the car, body kit w/ primer and its not alligned or bolted correctly, a typical "fart in the jar" exhaust, and a few high horsepower stickers to complement the added aerodynamics from the dented fender.
Rice to me is an import that has something done to it just to attract attention, and not the good type. Stuff like the legendary "fart jar", 4ft wings, orange rims, etc. They always moan about how the cops are always on them, yet they love to drive around revving their little pos. The only thing worse then rice, is domestic rice (usually cavaliers)
yeah, really it all comes down to how ridiculously stupid the wing/kit looks, how ridiculously dumb the owner is, and how little work is done to it.
there are a few really nice ones out here, like one kid has a super charged GTI (VR6) and its really quick. there is a supra around here too thats pretty nice, and that srt-4. dont like the front of those cars, but i would definetly take this one
