Quick question. I took a picture of my recoil rope as it is starting to fray a very little. I am just wondering if it should be replaced before the season starts. What do you think??

i dont think the rope looks to bad but in the picuture it looks like the jagged rivet or pin on the brake caliper is causeing it to fray thats not good

Actually the picture is decieving. It was rubbing up against another part in the sled but it was fixed by the dealer as there was a sleve put in the sled where it was rubbing. I was thinking I would get it replaced just because I would not want to be stuck without a sled because the rope broke during the season. I have had electric start before this so I was just unsure. Thanks.

Replace it! From experience of walking home myself because of it, it's an easy thing to do now while it's still kinda warm!
