found all numbers for il registration but motor number.
no plates anywhere i can see.
just picked up the 1985 indy 400, got it running after
carb bath, and other maintnance. now just wana ride
out of my yard legally. please help?

Motor # is on the front, below the exhaust manifold.

thanks for the quick responce. look there
in a minute. its pritty greasy down there.
it is a project for my 11yr old son & i.
after i got the 600 running good its
way tooo fast for his 83lb body.
