I recently bought a 1986 Indy Trail. Eventually (this summer most likely), I would like to upgrade the suspension on it. Anyone have any suggestions for a decent upgrade? Should I stick with factory replacement or aftermarket?

how much do you want to spend? if you have meney to blow go with aftermarket either ez ryde or holtz if you dont want to spend alot stick to something like and extra 12 or edge suspension. im sure no matter what you will have to move your rear mounting brackets to make anything else fit.

extra 12 will not fit in an older 8 inch sled, well you can make it physically fit, but it wont work, the 12 is so tall when you put the sled on the ground the front ski's have 4-5 inches of daylight under them >>> been there, tried that

You can however switch to and Xtra 10 and see improvement in ride
