my brother thinks studding my sled would b pointless cuase he said going 50 on a groomed trail he had to slam on the brakes and whip it sideways to get it around a corner...this was in maine.....i think he is a Fing idiot for thinking this and doing that....

the question was is his logic correct about thinking like that. and whether to stud or not, but either way im gonna stud it, i hate sitting there spinning my track to pieces...it sucks

Studded tracks spin too. You'll only see an advantage on ice or hardpack. In all other conditions, you're going to spin just as much as an un-studded track.

try ang get a double backer patteren with power tower support nuts. best thing on the market now.
