I ride a ‘98 Polaris Indy and I recently got some plastic skis off of a 2003(?) Polaris XC 500. I already know the benefits of plastic skis and I want to know if these will be sufficient and if I should go ahead and buy carbides or if I should get a different aftermarket set? Thanks

I've found over the years that the Polaris skis work pretty well. I have had sleds with the Polaris Sidehiller and Sidehiller II skis, and did not feel the need to spend the bucks to replace them. I have three sleds with the stock Polaris skis on my current sleds and they are better than most of the after-market. My sleds were all mountain sleds, so take that into consideration...

They may not be the best of the best, but are way more than "just adequate" for my needs. Your mileage may vary ;)

Thanks for the reply, Dan. I think I’ll stick with the skis I have then and just get carbides for them
