i found a performance chip on ebay for a ext 580 efi and i have a 97 if i buy this will it allow me to buy a pipe and a can etc for my sled thanks!

NO! There are several chips for the EFI sleds! The best that I have found is I have made up an adjustable fuel presure regulator! It has a gauge and is adjustable from like 20# to lean it down and up to over 40 to richen for pipes!

Those are scams... Look at the feedback, etc. Ton's of these around. There is a resister inside the box. That is it.

Open up the stock exhaust box,
Oval out the pick up coil mount holes (advance timing)
And adjustable fuel regulator
Personally a bit of flow porting helps alot!

I have a can on the sled, any specific fuel regulator? Not the brightest on snowmobiles slowly getting into it, just wanting some more power, I was gonna try and get some zr700 pipes and stuff them into the ole 96 ext, worth a shot

The 580 can be bored out to a 620?
The stock can had the Black Magic rework
Heads were turned, case and cylenders were ported!
And of Course it has my adjustable fuel pressure regulator complete with gauge!
It was very fast! 98 mph in 500'

LOL Yep I have been making them for many years!
I am a plumber and the regulator shows that!
