I just stuck a new motor in my mach z and after about 4 miles it overheats. I tried bleeding it but am not quite sure what is the proper way to do it. Does anyone know the proper procedure? Also the sled is a 93 with a SC-10 in it, motor is a 95.

I just did a 2000 formula engine and had a simular thing happen. The cooling system is air bound. You need to rise the front of the sled up so air trapped in the heat exchangers can work it's way out.
Rise the front end up about 1 1/2 to 2 milk crates high and run sled till warm then shut off and let cool. Then top off coolant and repeat. Sometimes it takes a couple of times for this to work. Depends on how much air is in there.
