I need help with my snowmobile. I just bought a 1973 gp433b snowmobile and the owner told me it starts, idles but when rev’d up it doesn’t move or engage. He told me that the points needed to be adjusted. I’m guessing he’s talking about the points and condenser?? Or is it something else that causing it from not moving?? Anything helps

I would start with the carbs and go threw everything

Yep, could be carbs could be low compression, could be drive clutch stuck open a little could be crappy fuel, lots of things. Get started on it and let us know the details as you go.

Steve who did all of that with his 80' Blizzard a few years in a row... this year was a broken fuel line in the tank. Had to fish it out.
