New to the site looking for people to connect with for riding and trail info. Has anyone been up flowery trail yet this year?

I wish there was an online source with current trail info. The WA state parks and rec website is rarely updated. Sometimes the winterknights post info, but not very often.

My wife and I rode Chewelah creek to Calispell peak 2 weeks ago and it was very rough, the trails havn't been groomed in a long time, if at all. There were trees down all over the place too. I'll stick to the Baldies and Mt. Spokane because there is still good off trail riding and the trails leading to those areas are good.

There is plenty of snow over in my area. I-90 snoqualmie is loaded with snow. I haven't been on lately due to work being crazy.

Kevinmajor,

Is part of the Kings lake Baldies trail system still open for rideing? I have been reading that part is closed due to logging. I havent been rideing up their for over 3 years. just wanted to confirm that I could ride up their if I head that way this weekend.

The trails are groomed and were in good shape the last time we rode. The part that is not maintained (but still ridable) is the cee cee creek area, trails 5030 and 5080. That area had a slide, snowmobiles can get through, but not the groomer. There were a lot of trees across the trail in that area-we rode that area from the warming hut and ended up turning around because my wife didn't want to ride over, under, or around trees anymore.

A good route is to go up to south baldy, play off trail for a bit, then go up 1137 to the warming hut, have lunch and return to the kings lake parking lot.

Rode yesterday from kings lake. Trails where in good shape groomer has been through last week. Rode to the top of south badly too foggy to get off trail much. Ride up to warming hut was nice. Then back to parking lot. Wish we had more time. All in all good time nice trails weather sucked.
