I just finished rebuilding my engine and everything was running good. I then developed a problem with spark. I did not find out what caused the engine to blow. I have heard that the carb position sensors are known to cause some problems. It runs but it seems to be when it gets to running temperature is when is seems to be not working properly. I took apart the kill switch on the handlebars and the first time that worked. It started to work again. Now I have not really checked it out. I am starting to get really fustrated!!!! I also had the stator re wound this year. Any help would be very helpful.

Disconnect the key, kill and tether switches first to see if that does it. If not, it's either the coil, CDI or Stator (again)...:(
