I have a few questions about jetting and carbs. im a newb to snowmobiles i guess, i hope you can help

1). what does the jetting do

2). are the two screws near the carberator jetting adjustment

3) if so, what should they be set at

These are my questions i hope you can help. my snowmobile is a 1996 yamaha ovation 340, if youve never seen one go to

1.Jetting is the air/fuel mixture.
2.The screws do alter this to a point...probably air and fuel screws your speaking of.
3. I have no idea where they should be set at for that sled, smallengineguy might be able to help on this one.

You have alot of different adjustments on your carb, main jet/pilot jet/air screw/ fuel screw/needles/etc......something to not play with unless you know what your doing.
