I am working on a 91 SRV, and I have a carb problem. The sled ran fine last year, and it is all stock. This year, I pulled the carb off, cleaned low and high jets, made sure all the passages were clear, and threw it back on. It idles fine, but has a bad flat spot off idle, and it is getting good fuel, and plenty of it. The mixture needle is responsive, but it still has a bad lean spot in there that I cannot get rid of. Once it gets on the main, it flys, it is just getting there that is a problem. Float level is good, and jets are all stock. I am baffled. Seems like the pilot jet is plugged, but it isn't. Any ideas?

SRV FLAT SPOT

Mine was doing the same thing rebuilt the pump, and teaked the choke cable at the carb side. my choke lever was loose and flopping in the wind. You slide the boot away from the carb, and loosen the jam nut, adjust it so the choke lever is starting to get snug not tight and tighten the lock nut. put the boot back down and you should be fine

good luck
