picked up a summit 583 (97) today , I CANT WAIT TO RIDE IT !!
my son and i are going out to ride tomorow, woo hoo !!
anyways , any info ,good, bad, or in different, about this model?
seems to be in good shape . have an opertunity to get another , same
year ,same model ! we will have to see how this one turns out .
i know the previous owner pretty well , he is telling me they are and
excellent model !!! i hope so !! any input ?

have you done a compression test just to see what kinda psi that sled is producing???

I looked up that sled on the net to see what it looks like and from reading what other owners say it seems to be a decent sled!!!!!

i will do a compression test tomorow at work
took it out today with my son , what a fun ride !!
little different than what i am used to , but i will
get er fine tuned !!!

that skid plate and front bumper dont quite look right.....

Are the summits different than the normal S Chassis?

no there the same chassis , the skid plate is messed because the previous owner bashed it into something , i picked it up yesterday, so i have not had a chance to
straighten it out, the left skii is tweeked as well , but i sure had fun today

Good to see you're having fun! Congrats on the purchase, the sled looks great! There's always bugs to work out on a new sled, don't fret!
