Start by cleaning your carbs. Take apart and clean the jets. Make sure you're running the correct spark plug. Check your jet sizes in carbs. Make sure they're correct for your altitude.
the color on the plug also tells you stories , dark and black, too rich .
white and or silver , too lean ,tan/ brown like a marshmellow over the campfire.

musicfreako is rite on! I hade that same sled. if i hade a dollar for every time i hade to clean those roundside carbs to cure gas foulin my new sled would be paid for. lol. it helped me alot when i bought a new airbox seal. and ran reg skidoo miniral oil.
