how big of deal is changing the clutch weights on the pro rmk when riding at 2000 feet when its set up for 6000-10000? would it do damage if i dont change it.

you can run into alot of problems if you are not set up to run at the altitude you are riding in. It shouldn't be to bad to change what needs changed. You could do severe perminant damage such as burning up your engine if you are not jetted properly. So just bite the bullet and set it up for what you normally ride in.

The PRORMK is an EFI engine, you will lose some performance with the wrong weights, but it won't do anything bad to your engine. The worst thing that could happen is the weights/spring setup may be too light and you will experience some over-revving and rev out of the power band. Make sure to run good 91 octane gas, too.
