Thats alot of sled!
I would Not recommend that sled for a newbee!
It will be VERY Fast!
Likely close to 175HP

I've owned an XLT 800 triple before but I'm sure this is still way more power. Do you not recommend it because of the power it has or the maintenance it'd need? Perhaps both?Thats alot of sled!

You're right. It was an XCR with the dual headlight. I'm 24 and have been riding sleds on and off since 14, so I've got experience riding them. I've just never learned much about the mechanics. No such thing as a XLT 800. XCR 800 though and that thing will still be more power & speed then that by far. Unless you have had years and years of experience riding it might be too much which is what KC is getting at. Mods like that are known to be very quick accelerating and a high top end speed.
Yeah. He said he "doesn't ride groomed trails much and doesn't want to beat up a sled this nice out in the trees". I have my doubts especially with the odometer reading 12k miles. Is there anyway I could have a dealer somehow check for the original miles or is that not possible?first question I would ask would be , with all the investment and the sled is that good WHY are you selling it ,second would be what needs to be rebuilt next, IMO sled seems tuckered out
I didn't think so. Just found a 2015 Arctic Cat XF 7000 High Country Sno Pro ES with 2700 miles for $5000. Think I'm going to pull the trigger on that!NO ONE WOULD INCREASE THE MILES!
12,000 is alot!
That's what I'm getting from it. Being unsure of the actual mileage, the mods, and my lack of mechanical knowledge I think I'd be better off with the XF high country. Although someone told me on Reddit that a high country isn't smart to have in Michigan.I think that's a much better choice. In my experience, sleds that have been hotrodded don't have the same dependability or life as those left stock. But they are fun while they last!![]()
