So my 93 Polaris 600 will not shut off. No matter if I turn the key off, hit the kill switch on the handlebars. Only way I can shut it off is by turning the choke on. Which is not good for the engine or the sparkplugs.

Everything worked until I put this new engine under the hood. I have all the wires hooked up that I can see. If it was the the kill switch on the handlebars not working but the key worked I would know it is the kill switch. But since both do not work I am lost.

Look for a wire that's not connected that goes from the stator toward the kill switch. On my 700, it was black/white and a single wire. I had removed the airbox and the wire got disconnected at a bullet connector and I had the same issues. The wire completes the path to ground for the switches to work.
