My 97 indy 500 runs great around 20deg or below but when it is in the high 20s and it is warmed up it starts to bog down. If I cool the engine down with a little snow thrown on it, it picks right back up for a short period. If I can keep up a steady speed say 30mph it will not do this but trail riding with varying speeds it really acts up.

Any ideas?

sounds like you have a cooling problem because it won't run right if its too warm and that explains that the faster you go cools down, because it will run like free air, chexk your fan and make sure othing in the wAY and that the belt is moving.

I'd highly suggest moving this into Polaris Snowmobile section. You will get more responses and ideas, although these guys are usually dead on. We should be paying them for their help... Hmm... Now that is an idea! Some of you would be very wealthy
