I have a 1991 Polaris Indy Trail (488cc) and have had a failure in one of the springs and the main shock. The shock just unbolts so that will be easy to replace but I am unsure how to remove the bogie wheel to slide the spring off. I have included pictures to help you understand what I mean. Also, a metal ring is broken off of where the suspension bolts in... Is this a big deal?

Thanks,
Andy

for the idle wheel just take a small chisel or something and tap on it from behind it. it will come off but i see it has some rust so may take a bit. also before you put it back on take some fine sandpaper to the rod and some WD 40 it will slide on better for ya. yes that ring should be welded back on.
