My young son has a 2004 AC 370 not running 100%, i'm cleaning the carbs now but was also concerned if his ignition wires are correct, the longer wire is actually on the plug closer to the coil and the shorter wire is the far reaching plug. Does it matter? The wires are attached to the coil up and down so if there is a correction can you tell me where the "top" wire goes? Thanks

Even with multiple coils, some ignition systems will fire the plugs multiple times per revolution. My 650 fires 3 times per revolution on all three plugs. It has 3 coils. On those "Lost spark" systems, there is no firing order. I learned this after diligently labeling the wires every time I took them off to change plugs ;)

yes that is possible also but there is some multiple coil systems that fire at different times and it matters what plug they go on. I was just pointing out the fact that a single coil with multiple wires it didnt matter where they went but to caution if it had multiple coils as it could matter.
