I just traded a jetski for two yamaha snowmobiles.

He said one was a 1992 SVR 540. How do i verify the year? I cannot find a serial number or anything.

the other was a "1989" Enticer One Cylinder 300cc. How do i verify the year on that.

i also have had an arctic cat LYNX 2000/T. Does anyone know how to verify the year on that one as well?

Thanks for the help. I'm new!!!

the vin #'s should be stamped on the right side of the tunnel just below where the seat meets the tank. you need the first three digits to verify year. this is for the yamahas. cant tell you on the ac. the last year for the srv was 91 and should start with 88U for that year. i dont think they ever made a 300 enticer with only one cylinder, and they werent made after 84. more than likely a bravo. vins will tell, unless the engines were transplants.

Okay i found them!

Here are the numbers..

SRV- 8U7 is the first three.

and the other is a Inviter with the start of 86E

Can you guys tell the year from that?

And on the inviter the tunnel number and engine number are the same? Is that right?
