While trying to pull my light shanty and sled on the lake I had a heck of a time get going (stuck in like 8 inch snow on ice)

Prob
97 vmax 1.25 track ,,,,Lugs are like 1/2inch from front heat exchanger. So the right size studs would be to close to heat exchanger,,,,,,, right/wrong,,,,
thats what I was told...
Would 1.25 studs get me some traction?
I saw some other claw type traction devises also?

Any suggestions

Besides 1 inch track, or changing to smaller drive coggs
or are those my best best
Kinda wanna make it an easy deal
thanks much

I,m so happy to hear that

I had 1.40 studs but sold them,,cuz thought they would be to close.

1 more question with those studs do I need tunnel protectors? yes!
Do I have to remove the track to put them on? or do I take seat off and rivit down?
thanks

another
noticed tunnel protectors are only like 3/4 or 1 inch!!!! would I have to stack,em or they must make thicker?

I,m still leary of putting 1.325 or bigger. I am leaning towards putting 1.25,but still think I may have issues. Does anyone have more input.
I wanna stud up some for safety.
thanks

you want studs no more than a 1/4 in longer than track height.

got short 1,s

Did lots of research. Decided to get (96)1.15/overall 1.40 studs. Seems with 9t drivers nothing bigger than 1.175 studs should be used. I'll let you guys know if they do nothing.

the issue youre gonna have is youre track will hit the ice before the studs which cancels out the studs

I'm gonna see what they look like on the track. studs are in the mail. I might even cut those fingers off the track. But I've read they will contack some. Thank for the advice. let it snow.
