how to get more power out of my sled

I was wondering what I could do to get more power out of my sled I have a 97 formula z 670 and I found a good deal on a larger track with rail extenders and I know putting on a longer track with larger lugs I'll lose some power but I want to get that power back I if not more. I am new to this type of stuff and not sure what to do.

The longer track will help the 670 get the power to the ground. You'll have to figure out the clutching to make it work though. The stock 670 likes to spin the track a lot. Even with studs it spun my track a lot with a 121 under there.
