Just picked up my first sled (No more borrowing)!

Anyhow, have a question about current estimated horsepower out of the 600, 700, and 800 XC SP.

I purchased a 600 Edge X, with the M10 suspension, but almost got the 700 without the M10...which the 700 XC SP was actually $300.00 cheaper than the 600 Edge X with the M10.

Anyhow, I was told there was a very small HP difference, and the benefits of the M10 on the 600 was worth trading off the 700 option...any thoughts?

Also, my buddy has a 99' XCR 700....will my 600 hang with him?

Thanks for any input.

you have a trail cruser not a drag racer. you should leave him in the drifts with this little 6er you have a way better ride. you have about 112hp

Yep that is right. 112 for the 600, about 120-123 for the 700 and closer to 130-132 for the 800. You 600 will do more than ok. 700's get better gas milage as far as the rmks are concerned. Bigger engine doing the same work, but you dont buy an rmk for fuel economy. Good choice on the sled.
