Could you post the link you got from ArcticFX on ArcticChat, so we could look at the designs and what they cost too?
go to post one of this thread. everything me and jordan have chatted about is in the link i posted in my first post this thread.

as for arcticfx's site, this is where i went to pick from. http://www.arcticfxgraphics.com/shop/index.php?cPath=76_69 the more random the design the better it will look. there are other designs than whats on that page also. surf and decide.

you have to remember, the actual, non-random designs, are specific to the sled. their designed around the gaps and cut outs. were just a sheet, one-size-fits-all kinda thing. thats not to say you cannot make it work, just the difficulty rating went up because now matching lines from one strip to the next is more important than it was for me.

where did you put the decal strips to? i might try it.
what do you mean, where did i put them to? i have included pics of the install in here. my write up will be in a few days, hopefully.

clarify what you want, and ill try to answer better.

your half right.

i threw ALOT of ideas at him to get him to make me SOMETHING for my sled. i am the first one EVER to get one of these. i got one, because, it was a good idea, my idea, and opened up another market for him.

the older sled market.

he has not put what i have into production yet, as far as i know. he's waiting to see how mine went on, how it looked when finished, how high on the pita scale it rated on the install, and general feed back from me.

right now its a possibility of production, not a production.

if your actually interested in this, send him a email, tell him you have been following my thread, and are thinking about buying one.

he is not over here. he is on Arcticchat. im smurf over there. every version of tree trimmer that i could think of was taken over there. send him a email from the contact info on his website. thats the fastest way to get ahold of him. he hasnt been on chat for a while. as far as i know, not since he made me the guinea pig offer.

if you get one, and if your relatively close to Sterling, ill come help if you want.

cost you a 12 pack of dr.pepper, though. :D

it'll take a solid couple hours to put on, and put on right. never know, i guess, my second one will probably be faster than the first one.

dont thank just me, thank RJ as well. he was the one who allowed me to post another forum on here, so i could do this here. if not for RJ, this thread would not be here.

and thanks to everyone who followed this. it has been a.......learning experience to say the least. i looks real good as a finished product, but im glad im a tree trimmer, and not a vinyl installer.

if you read the thread on chat, the way it sounded is this was for any design he had on his site.

keep in mind, if/when you go looking on his site, that there are designs in the skidoo section not in the ac section, and polaris not in the others, etc etc.

what you goin for, for a design anyways.

so, got some paint on today. a simple semi-gloss black was what i opted for.

i would highly recommend if you decide you want to paint, do it before you put the wrap on.

i didnt decide i wanted paint till after i got the wrap on, and as you can see, there was ALOT of tape involved.

having to tape the entire wrap, was not fun. i mean, i already had to doink around putting the wrap on entire hood, and now i gotta tape off all the AGAIN. lol

ill put the windshield back on tomorrow, take the hood off, and then work on removing the track.

This is what I am needing for both of my older Polaris sleds. I have a 98 Polaris XC 600 and a 99 Polaris XC 700. Ive been looking at places to do this for me. Havent had any luck. I have a vinyl cutter capable of doing the cutting for snowmobiles, I just dont know all measurements or where I would be able to get them. I would love to have my decal business be able to cut wraps for the older sleds. where can I get in touch with someone willing to sell sheets as described?
